Supplier Quality Engineer
Hybrid in Fremont, CA
Pay: $36 - $46/hr
Duties:
* Collaborates with suppliers to maintain a database of collected material information (SDS, test reports) and environmental compliance documentation. Assists with maintaining and updating documents and records. Monitor and assess new environmental regulations and provide updates to internal stakeholders.
* Supporting various Sustaining/Product Engineering material changes throughout our product portfolio.
* Supplier Communication/Data Collection. Contacting suppliers to request additional compliance documentation or clarify regulatory requirements.
* Updating Documentation. Collecting, reviewing, and analyzing compliance documentation to identify any non-compliance risks.
* Maintaining Databases. Updating and organizing internal databases with regulatory information and material compliance records.
* Supporting Process Improvements. Supporting internal teams with remediation activity for compliance-related activities.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree, 1-4 yrs experience required (Science, engineering, environmental background preferred)
* Communication, Attention to detail/Organizational skills, ability to learn quickly
* Software proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
